Popcorn Shrimps

Shrimps – 25, peeled & de-veined
Egg – 1
Milk – 2 tbsp (Optional)
Fresh breadcrumbs – from 2 slices of bread
Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – enough to fry the shrimps

Clean the shrimps and drain all the water. Marinate in salt & chilli powder for at least 10 minutes. Prepare the wet dip by beating the egg with milk and salt. Prepare the dry dip by processing two slices of bread in a food processor. You may use store bought breadcrumbs instead. Heat up oil in a frying pan. Take one shrimp and dip in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumbs. Add the shrimp to the hot oil. Repeat this until the pan is full. Do not overcrowd the pan. Fry 5 to 6 minutes each side or until golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup or any of your favorite dip.
